Me unboxing the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens to go on any Canon SLR or D-SLR. A great lens with a fairly short focal distance and short focal range with is having such a wide aperture. I love the effects you can get with it. “Bohke” is an effect where you either blur the background or have the whole picture blurred. “Bohke” is Japanese for “blurry” and is pronounced bow-ker.

The nikon d200 has proven to be an excellent camera so far with a lot of cool features and settings. Here are some examples of my own photography, including wildlife, portrait, landscapes, flowers/plants, and one of the most fun, light painting. I used my nikkor 70-300mm lens for most of the photos, but for the light painting and some of the dogs and cats and flowers i just used the 18-70mm nikkor lens.
