Canon SD780IS review. My impressions of one of the smallest tiny cameras on the market, the SD 780 IS compact digital ultra portable ultra thin pocket camera. Video shot with my trusty Canon S3IS.
Quick tour and demonstration of the menus and basic functionality of the SD 780 covered. The ultra slim form factor and the 1280×720 HD at 30fps are the biggest draws to this point and shoot that initially attracted me to this camera.
This would make an awesome helmet mounted cam. Much more affordable than a dedicated helmetcam as well. I’ve mounted it on my bicycle helmet and seems to work well. Will post vids of the rides soon.

These are photographs I took of the Monster Jam Motorsport show at the Verizon Center in Washington DC. I used my brand new point-and-shoot camera, the Canon Powershot SX1 IS with a 20X optical zoom, since Verizon doesn’t allow SLR cameras to be used at its events. As for the event, I thought it was pretty good albeit a bit like professional wrestling (i.e. “scripted”). Although the monster trucks were colorful, I thought the daredevil ramp jumps by motorbike riders were more impressive, but they were much harder to photograph. As for the technical side of things, I was reasonably happy with the new camera. It’s ability to shoot four frames per second unlike other much slower point-and-shoots is EXTREMELY nice.

hey guys, my camera broke Dx. the broken one is a Canon PowerShot S50. but my mom gave me her old Nikon Coolpix 5700. it has a big lense and seems to work pretty well. it also takes video, which is pretty nice for a 2002 camera. takes compact flash card.

LX3 and G10 quick size reference comparison review with some features outlined, compared and discussed. Both are great cameras. Both can shoot in RAW mode and have full auto and manual override. I like the Panasonic Lumix LX3 for its smaller portable size as well as the 720 HD video recording capability.
