Quick overview of the Canon G10 14 MP compact digital camera. Also shown is the Canon 580EX II flash unit attached to the G10′s accessory hotshoe along with the ST-E2 infrared transmitter demonstration.
Very good results as long as you stay under ISO 400. Solid construction with good ergonomics. Ability to use Canon flash units is a huge plus. E-TTL integrated with external off shoe flashes. Ability to use wireless TTL via STE2 is another huge plus.
Wish it had an articulated LCD screen like some of the earlier G series cameras. Included wireless remote and time lapse recording would have been another nice feature Canon did not have to omit from this model. An F 2.0 lens that goes down to 24mm to 400mm would have made this a killer camera. This and most videos posted taken with Canon S3IS.
